When asked about Western demand for Japanese audio as a dialogue option, Okamura-san professed he was quite surprised when he first learned that the option was in high demand: "We thought that Japanese audio was a feature enjoyed primarily by just the Japanese fans, so it honestly took us by surprise seeing and hearing the huge reaction and passionate requests from the overseas fans."

I don't see why don't more jrpg devs do this more often, most people who buy jrpg games are long time fans of the genre. It really boggles my mind why they don't do so, its not like your average casual gamer or fps heads will even give these games a second thought.

Japanese audio is a highly requested feature imo

For me & I'm sure not only me JRPG w/o the original Japanese VO = SKIP/PASS not even care, I'm glad that many JRPGs on PSP have unofficial undub versions which can be found on various sites & I can enjoy them finally the way they meant to be played.
