Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Infographic is Ripe With Information

Gameranx: "Over 30,000 spectres rule the galaxy." (Mass Effect 3, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Love the multiplayer in Mass Effect 3. It's way overlooked. The new Geth Juggernaut character feels a bit overpowered on silver though, but it might be good for gold and platinum (which are f###ing hard to complete imo).

I agree. Its actually quite brilliant. I think that Bioware could do something with this gameplay in future games. Allow ppl to choose a race with an origin story etc...maybe co op like borderlands. Anyways, the enemies and their character classes are amazing. The classes and their powers add strategic depth and cooperative play can spell doom or success. It is highly overlooked. I may be so bold as to say its one of the best there is. Now, they need to take it 5 steps further on next gen and make a full fledged game out of it. Imagine that u and 3 friends can choose classes and take part in an epic gallactic journey together. As i said, borderlands is a great template. Add in Bioware storytelling and the many branches u could go. The possibilities are limitless. Maybe merge sp and mp. I know bioware still has some magic left in them and the ME universe is too astonishing not revisit again...at least once.

You'll get to them eventually. I've only just joined the Platinum games mid-February and Gold in October. I still remember when me and my friends would fail 1/2 the time on wave 10 of Bronze.

Completely agree with you. I feel like I have gold with randoms under control, but Platinum is still bat shit insane for me.

Great to see that more people enjoy it, and yes there is serious strategic depth to all classes and how you play them. I actually enjoy playing the nimbler, faster character classes the most which goes against how I usually play.

I've extracted on Gold once but as soon as I get a few more upgrades to my equipment I feel that I'm ready. Still waiting to get the Cerberus Harrier rifle. It seems really good. My go to weapon at the moment is the Sable.

Regardless of weather or not you liked the ending or even if the co-op multiplayer was not your bag. You have to give credit to Bioware for suporting the multiplayer for a whole year with free DLC. Five packs in total with dozens of new characters, weapons, gear, maps, objectives, and enemies. I think its the right way to do multiplayer. Yes there is the tempting microtransactions of buying packs with MS points, but each Gold match is almost enough to buy the high end packs.

I have enjoyed the multiplayer and hope they have ideas to expand on it in the next game further.
