Review Shooter: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (NoTR)

Raiden gets a starring role in this Metal Gear title, and Nerds on the Rocks finds there is a lot to love. Check out the full review. (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PS3, Xbox 360) -

I just beat it yesterday and I must say I liked it alot. It is definitely not a regular Metal Gear game which at first sucked but honestly it was just really fun to play. And playing with the Grey Fox skin is worth it if you just want to pretend its a game starring him instead of Raiden, except for cut scenes. But the combat is fluid and the game looks great. Just remember how to parry! If you don't learn that, you will get your ass kicked in the boss battles, especially in one particular boss where if you don't parry perfectly, he will drain half your health with every combo he connnects. Some of the battles can be overwelming, but you just have to break down each enemies moves and parry.
