Lego City Producer: Can't see Lego City 'on any other console'

After Rayman Legends went multiplatform to PS3/360 many gamers were wondering if any other Wii U exclusives would follow Rayman to other consoles. Lego City Undercover probably won't. The Producer of Lego City Undercover emphasizes how the game uses the Wii U Game Pad as the main reason why this game probably won't hit 'any other console' in the future. (Lego: City Undercover, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Based on this it's because of the Gamepad functionality. Yeah, you could also have PS3/Vita owners use it as well, but that's assuming a majority of PS3 owners have a Vita with them.

Perhaps, but they said it was because of RAM.

Well couldn't they make it Vita/Smartglass compatible?

Sony fans try listening to what devs say, like 10 developers have said wiiu has insane amounts of RAM,all the wiiu main RAM specs are fake at best and only rumours nothing is confirmed other than it has 32MB eDRAM with 30% of the gpgpu unknown thats the truth no one nows the main RAM only a few devs had final kits early,so alot of the negative comments from certain devs is pointless, and besides these few devs, all other devs only got final kits in April last year ??? look it up,and there was meant to be something special in them final kits for devs.

Yup, I think Ubisoft said something pretty similar once with Rayman Legends.

The truth of the matter is that, ultimately, no third party publisher will hesitate to put any given game in other platforms if they see a financial benefit from it. These PR talks are just that, "talks".
