PlayStation 4 gaming to go next-generation with Enlighten

The PlayStation 4 will be receiving all of the best technology for this next-generation of gaming, and joining the already impressive system is the state-of-the-art lighting system from Geomerics called Enlighten.

Enlighten will now be available to all developers who are working on PlayStation 4 games, which will help creators bring real-time global illumination to games that utilize its tech. (Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, Geomerics, PS4)

Thats some cool tech, fire up Battlefield and see how the sun bounces off from a red container into a Yellow one.
The bounced light will color part of the yellow container orange, as it should.

Its a combination of all the right elements that gets me going batshit crazy over the possibilities with this platform.

The power is definately there but most importantly its the EASE OF USE that gets me most excited.

I get brain spasms and foam at the mouth when i think of this architecture in the hands of Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studios.
