It was the 17th anniversary of the Pokemon series recently and the franchise doesn't have any plans of slowing down anytime soon.
(Nintendo, Nintendo DS, Pokemon, Retro)
Seriously though, I've been out of Pokemon since the Ruby/Emerald/etc. era. Though I recently gave it a try again with Black/White 2. They certainly have improved things a good bit for the games. Very much looking forward to the 3DS X/Y to see how they work with a 3D world.
Thats pretty much exactly what I did. I hadn't played a Pokemon game since ruby version when I bought it in 2003 or 2004. But about 3 weeks ago I bought White 2 because it was on sale at Best Buy for only $15, and I've been pretty addicted to it
Oh man....this brings back so many memories. I loved that crazy yellow ball of thunder when I was younger. And who cares that he didn't want to grow up. :P Nice article.
I loved Pokemon. Do you remember those little Tazo type things that you battled with, you like flipped them or something. Each Pokemon had a star rating. The show was amazing. I loved all the old episodes, with the giant Dragonite and Tentacruel, damn it was great.
I see some of my cousins watching it today, the little kids, and I just facepalm when I see what it has become. I'm at the age where I don't care any more, as long as a new generation of kids can experience the amazing world of Pokemon.
So much nostalgia. I stopped watching pokemon the moment he released Pigeot. I think before then he left his best pokemon all over the place or released them. Charizard is somewhere in some mountains, Squirtle works as a fire fighter, and Bulbasaur...I think he's still with Oak.
I've been a fan of the Pokemon games since Red and Blue, and I have absolutely no plans to change that. I have so many memories over the years. So many stories revolving around these games that I'll never forget. The crazy thing is, the games are still pretty good after all these years. Even if one generation slacks off in one regard, it always seems to compensate for it in another area.
The Pokemon series will always be welcome in my game collection.
So many good memories. Remember when I was just a kid I wanted to get all Pokemons and get them all to level 100. I would always get a flashlight and play during the night and would barely sleep lol.
This seems to be what you're looking for... XD
