Some Games Are Good Enough to Overlook the Flaws

"The other night I had an interesting conversation with one of my friends about the game Heavy Rain, a game which I hold near and dear to my heart as one of the best games of this generation." | Explosion.com (Heavy Rain , Mass Effect 3, PC, PS3, Quantic Dream, Rockstar Games, Xbox 360)

Some games are good enough to overlook how bad they are? That's a bit of a puzzling statement to make.

I mean, "some games have more good qualities than bad qualities," sure. But "some games have good qualities that make their bad qualities not matter" is a slippery slope.
