Seriously...what point is there in these comparisons??

The need to something else other than speculate about the performance of the PS4 and 720 ;-)

Yup, the poor streaming quality, and the fact that its not streamed and 1080p 60fps for pc will make the 2 look very similiar, but the PC looks better ofcourse, just not on an internet stream.

Not only that, they're not even using TessFX which makes a HUGE difference. You want to see the real quality of PC? Here's screenshots I took, maxed out TessFX on and 1080p.

You mad?

@Fishy Fingers, 'Seriously... I think it's to compare graphics'

Really?? ..No shiiiit Sherlock!

Visually....Comparing a 2012/2013 PC to 7 year old hardware is like comparing a Super Model to a Senior Citizen.

Utterly pointless!

You wont need a 2012 / 2013 PC to provide those graphics.

I am sure a 4-5 year old PC, will come very close to maxing the game out. Just might need to turn down some of the effects, IE Shadows, SSAO and TessFX. This wont effect visual quality that much and still will be miles ahead of console versions.

Well if you don't think it's valid then stop clicking on the Super Model Vs Senior Citizen articles.

Other than to show the differences between the two, right?

Got to admit, consoles; in this case the X360 still looks good.

Tone those hair physics down guys. I know you're excited and want to use them but keep it real.
guitar_nerd_23  +   1071d ago
I agree! Also with TressFX there seems to be an invisible wall on her back as well to stop it clipping with the rest of the mesh, which is totally understandable but looks kind of funny.

oooh this game looks so beautiful, can't wait to play it :)

On the Xbox version her pony tail looks like a... well a tail.

Really nice looking game on any platform. The scale of the environments is fantastic, they've done a great job choosing where to spend the polygons.
PersonMan  +   1071d ago
I saw very little difference. This game looks very good regardless of platform. It ALMOST looks as good as Uncharted 2.
Pandamobile  +   1071d ago
The PC version looks way better than Uncharted 2.

For a console game, Uncharted 2 is a lot better than most PC games. You know, graphics aren't just about resolution and anisotropic filtering.

It's the overall look of the game that impresses me.
Bladesfist  +   1070d ago
@PersonMan I have to disagree. I have been playing the mp of the third recently and it is blurry and filled with jaggies.
airshiraz  +   1071d ago
every console games of this gen are crappy in comparison to their pc version mainly beacause of lower resolution and antialiasing and anisotropic filter and directx 11
but im sure next gen is not like this and the difference is very small because they will have better 1080 p resoltion and much better antialiasing and anisotropic filtering and directx 11
GABRIEL1030  +   1071d ago
I don't see the difference between the versions, the games looks the same in a 2000 USD PC and a 190 USD cheap machine, of 7 years old, whats the point, that you dont need to expend a lot of money in hardware to play games?
Mogwai  +   1071d ago
OMG i want the pc version so i can turn on a setting that gives her glitchy bouncy hair, pfft!
RedSoakedSponge  +   1071d ago
the only difference i can really see due to the video quality is the hair is a lot different. looks incredible on pc.

this video is stupid. if they want to show the difference then do it at 1080p goddamnit!
worldwidegaming  +   1071d ago
Makes no sense. Maybe a kind of troll even.
Looking at my PC and Xbox I can see the game on the PC
is way better(bought the PC but rented the xbox version)...but this is to be expected if someone has
done their job.
The hair is nice but it needs to be fixed with a bit more gravity.
If you have a PC the version to buy is obvious and you do not need a 2000 rig to play this! even a 500 rig will play it better than the 360/ps3.
