Gears of War: Judgment Show Now Available On Demand

Earlier today, Microsoft broadcast a livestreamed Gears of War: Judgment show with an in-depth look at the shooter’s multiplayer among other goodies. You can catch up on the whole thing through the break. (Gears of War Judgment, Xbox 360)

I like that they're amping up the difficulty, but I wish the series would go back to its roots a bit more.

The first Gears had some suspenseful sections that felt right out of a survival-horror game. That's what I'd like to see more of, not just more action.

Yeah, that's what they said they are trying to capture, the gritty, dark atmosphere from the first. I just watched the whole thing, and it was awesome. I can't believe that when this game was first announced, and even a couple of months ago, I wasn't hyped at all. They keep revealing more and more content, so I pre-ordered it. Can't wait.

I actually disagree. I've played through Gears 1 about 3 times and it doesn't really have that many survival elements to it. I love the game very much but the "survival horror" that you felt in the game was just a misunderstanding.

I'm sure you're talking about the "factory level." It just unintentionally had a few seconds of survival horror elements but it was intended as a focus.
