Razer And Riot Games Launch League Of Legends Collector's Edition Products

Razer today announced a partnership with Riot Games to produce official Collector’s Edition peripherals for League of Legends, the world’s premiere PC gaming title.

As the only mouse on the planet optimized for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) gaming, the Razer Naga Hex features six large, mechanical thumb buttons and a custom League of Legends logo and detailed rune script on its scroll wheel. Gamers can pair the mouse with a League of Legends-branded Razer Goliathus mouse mat designed to enhance swift movements during the fast-paced lane wars across the Summoner’s Rift. Both products come with an in-box code to unlock one of the game’s champions and skin*, and they are now available at the Razor Zone.

Think it'd be better to get the 12 key mouse instead of this one if you were looking for a mouse with extra buttons.

Nah. I've tried the MMO mice with 12 buttons, never liked them. There's just too many buttons for me to the point where it's hard to tell where your thumb is and what you're pressing.

I bought the Wraith Edition of the Naga Hex (this mouse) and it's awesome. Really comfortable, and the button placement is perfect. I can easily acess any of the buttons, and the thumb rest is a nice touch.

I don't even like Razer as I've always found them to be premium price for budget quality. But with the Naga Hex they got it right. I wouldn't recommend any of their other products though.

Yea, I'd buy a different brand product if there were any others available. I know logitech put out an imitation of the naga recently, but that was after I bought mine and I've never heard of any others.

I understand about the too many buttons thing, it does take some getting use to but I've gotten use to them and it may not be for everyone.
