SOE planned to implement Update 4 to PlanetSide 2 next week and creative director Matt Higby just posted a thread highlighting the key stuff coming in the update. He also revealed that Game Update will be released on a 2-week cadence so you know when you can get the next Update.

PlanetSide 2 is going to be getting its next major expansion this December. This new addition, titled “Expedition: Oshur” will be the first addition in almost seven years to bring an entirely new continent to the game.
