Microsoft's HD-DVD player may be the most affordable high-def movie player on the horizon, but CNET is worried about the lack of HDMI.
"As long as the Xbox 360 is without an HDMI output, we can't wholeheartedly recommend its HD-DVD attachment, although we expect it to be mildly popular among Xbox 360 owners who have the cash and the display to take advantage. If you're just looking for an entry point to HD-DVD, the upcoming Toshiba HD-A2 with its HDMI output, an $500 price, and "just a player" simplicity, is probably a better solution..."
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them
2.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Activision and Raven Software's 2006 action role-playing game, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, has found its way to the Xbox Store.
Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem
I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.
Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.
Misleading. This page is whats available for people who owned the game prior to delisting.
Plenty of unforgettable games have completely messed up their players throughout the years, all the way back from the PS1 days to the dark recesses of the modern internet.
Well Donkey, the only reason you posted this is because it's a short minded article sort trying to get short commings on the table.
But actually there aren't. But you're too blind to see.
MS said, when HDMI cables are nescessary and people want them, they will give them. The output videoport on the 360 is a digital one. No need like PS3 to include special HDMI ports and all those dumb stories about it by Sony. No, just release a HDMI cable. And I think they'll actually do that. Even before the HD-DVD actually comes out or it might even be included in the final retail package of HD-DVD.
MS always got nice things up their sleeve. First, Sony fanboys were shouting about the nr. 1 point to buy a PS3 for. Having 1080p over 720p. Almost no one will use it, but still.
Now 360 will have 1080p in games and movies. Fanboys are searching for something it hasn't got again. Yeah HDMI... Don't search any further. Any time fanboys think they got a new selling point... It's whiped of the planet earth by MS having a brilliant trick to perform. Just wait and see. That HDMI cable will be there before you got a PS3
Wow, Cnet doubts the ability of the player for Microsoft. I didn't think that it could actually display games in 1080p I thought it was 1080i max and only for movies, guess I was wrong.
To predict who will win the format war, all you have to do is look at which format is supported by the adult entertainment industry.
"I hate fanboys."
Here is a link to gamestop about the HDMI cable so it's really not a problem but they cost $99 So if it's necessary go ahead and buy them. It will be available 12/01/06

The simple fact that the drive does not come with HDMI made me realized that M$ is going to come up with an HDMI adapter for the 360. If the HD-DVD drive would come with an HDMI port then this would mean that you couldn't use HDMI to display game (only movies), or M$ would have to come up with an adapter for the 360 while the HD-DVD would have it own port. This in term wouldn't make cense; since you would need 2 HDMI port on your TV to plug both devices(HD-DVD + 360). I do not understand where is the logic on adding hdmi ports for the HD-DVD when an HDMI adapter can be added to the 360 that can serve both the console and the hd-dvd drive. Also, consider the fact that the HD-DVD drive is just a drive; it does not process anything, it simply read the data, so it wouldn't make sense tecnically for data to be sent to the 360 then back to the HDDVD drive and then output to the TV.
So, I'm a bit disapointed about CNet about, "but we're worried about the lack of HDMI.", why would they expect the hd-dvd drive to have HDMI ports? Weird...
ADD-ON:they won't be fully supported.that has been a fact for the last 20 years.
1.hd-dvd add-on does nothing right now for games.
2.has to be upgraded with a patch to support 1080p.
3.you have to buy the thing.spending more money.
4.has no hdmi.but is supposed to be next gen for movies on disc.
5.not supported by most companies that make movies.
6.why buy, when you can buy gears,rs:vegas, mass effect and alan wake?same with ps3.why buy a movie when you can buy a game?
