Ubisoft has ruled out multiplayer naval battles in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
Not surprised if they are anything like the naval battles in AC3 it would be hard to render waves for 8 players online.
Really? Even for PCs and next-gen consoles? And why would it have to be 8-player online? Even 2v2 or 1v1 would be a lot of fun. ... Well, not that I'm complaining. The less emphasis on MP, the more able they'll be to deliver a solid SP experience. Uh, theoretically.
It s to keep everyone happy. I would expect PS3, 360 and Wii U players complain about not getting an online mode and still be charged the same price. I am sure it can be done further into the next generation but not with cross gen games. There is still a learning curve on the new consoles so AC5 might be able.
WTF no multiplayer? Not buyin it.
This is a huge missed opportunity.
I know right, the naval stuff in AC3 was pretty awesome, its the ONLY positive thing I have to say about the game
THANK YOU LORD! Now just remove the MP completely and everything will be sweet.
Or you could remove yourself from mp instead of such ludicrous statements .
I agree, MP never fit well into the AC universe. It was forced.
I think it would be a great idea, there would actually be some strategical thinking invloved.
I miss multiplayer games like that.
You can't please everyone.
Good, I can now buy it used without worrying about paying for online pass.
No naval lag? Say it ain't so! ;) This changes nothing.
