4Chan Awards List Mass Effect 3, Diablo 3, War Z As Worst Games Of The Year

I hated ME3 ending and the way EA handle the SP DLC but the game was improvement compared to ME2. Where I felt EA just hand the game over to Epic during the development process and strip some to most of the ME1 features/elements.
Is it suited to be called worst game of the year? Nope

I always hear crap about D3 being terrible but PC gamers went out brought it in-spite knowing about the always online requirement and the RMTS(Real money trading system).

If a game truly is terrible then don't buy it.

The WarZ out of the 3 really do deserve the worst game of the year. If EA want to see bad example how to do a microtransaction system they should look at WarZ. The mts is just the tip of the iceberg, sadly.

The award wasn't worst game of the year. The award was most hated game of the year. There's actually a difference when you think about it.

Even if a game is considered "good" you can still end up hating it.

From what I've heard and seen of side quest management, the limited and removed choices in conversation options, I really have to disagree with you in regards to ME3. The issues with the ending just made the rest less notable.

Something similar to ME2s final mission is what I actually expected. Except like a crazy version of it.

What we got was an meh battle for Earth capped of by 1 ending in 3 different colors that made no sense. It was so cheap and clearly rushed.

I understand that totallyy. But i just don't get the crazy overreaction people had. Internet threats, boycotting, sending cupcakes. They didn't do a good job but they definitely didn't deserve that stuff.

Have you played the War Z??? I understand people might prefer Day Z, but the amount of hate this game gets is stupid. Best 15 bucks I spent this year. 60 hours deep and the game will continue to improve. You want a bad game play the new aliens game. People should try playing games before hating them because its popular. The War Z has only taken 15 bucks from me and given me more than most 60 dollar games give me. Rant out

Joking aside, are you really bound to auto pilot when it comes to newspieces about 4chan or what people from 4chan thinks (eventhough it is relevant gaming news)? Is that why you just have the sudden urge to question the lack of moderacy when there are hundreds of pointless "hurr I'm gurl gaymhur give me attenshun" or "someone called me a name on the internet, please someone alert NASA and give me more attention" articles that gets approved each month? No. I have a problem with most articles on this site. Kotaku is a joke. IGN sucks, as well. So, don't get that idea.

Not liking articles that are up to at least some sort of quality standard (in this case) is your problem. Same goes for comparing articles like this to the fecal matter that sites like IGN produces. But eventhough you are really sensitive, at least you are honest, so I guess that counts for something.

There are bad games, games with bad controls, graphics, camera, mechanics... Those are easily avoidable if you get a bit of info about them in most cases.

Then there are terrible games that fool you play them until the end just to realize what a terrible waste of time they were and that you kept playing just to get to the fun part (that never arrived)

And then there are goddamn awful games that rip your dreams, hopes and very soul apart, and Mass Effect 3 is one of those

The skits were awful.
Some of the choices irritated me. [Katawa Shoujo writing is better than Max Payne 3? is this meta-trolling?]
The lack of interesting commentator/announcers made it worse.

But I enjoyed it.
