Carnage Heart EXA to launch into battle this April in NA and EU, Vita compatible from day 1

Viva la Vita: "Natsume have announced that their upcoming PlayStation Network exclusive for PSP, and Vita, Carnage Heart EXA is on track for an April release. The game has also been confirmed for Europe, but Natsume said there may be a short wait between the North American and European release dates. Neither an exact release date, nor a price point have been announced. The company has shared a variety of screenshots, and videos on their Facebook page, including a guide on how to program an OKE, the mechs of the game:" (Carnage Heart EXA, PS Vita, PSP)

Damn or disagree all you want, but it would be great to see something like this on the PS3.

Hell, this is the route Front Mission should have taken instead of TPS.

Armoured core is kinda like this, the new one.

This game about programming rather than directly controlling your mechs. One player put his squad in the field against another player's squad.

If AI was better this gen, if social/multiplayer gaming wasn't the overriding thing it is then AC-V would be about you custom building a mech squad and directing them thorough a mission. Training the pilots from mission to mission and in-between as you go.

Make like X-Com, Fire Emblem or the original Steele Battalion where the loss of a vet pilot would be worse than a dozen mechs.

Oh I see. I didn't know.

That's cool.

I think that kinda thing should be built into Armoured core :D

If this is as tactical as I think it is, it'll be a buy for me.
