David Cocks: "The camera moves constantly into the world immersing the player fully and on occasion is presented in third person. It was this feature alone that excited the team and the possibilities of exploring it in this game made us really only consider 3DS. Can this game be done on other platforms? Sure but we think the 3DS has the advantage here and certainly we designed the game to look its best on the Nintendo handheld".

. . . . . . . . .. this is why no Vita port or H.D. rehash will look superior to Nintendo's 3DS version of Castlevania Mirror of Fate . .

FacT #396 Besides being more comfortable, the glasses free 3D effect in the less powerful 3DS makes the 3DS superior than Sony's schmita .. .

Sureeeee, the screenshot on the right looks like bright jaggy diarrhea. If Castlevania was on the Vita it would look better period.

Any news on the PS3 version?

If you are talking about lords of shadow no this is just the 3DS game coming out this Tuesday. Don't worry about that though I'll be sure to get some info on that sooner or later.

I played the demo of my friends 3DS and it's really good.I'm not a big fan of the 3DS 3D but this game looks amazing with the 3D on. I was shocked how good it looked and played in 3D. I'm a vita owner and i get now what david was saying. I'd still like to see it on the vita but you can't get that amazing 3D effect i got from that demo. Really if you are a 3DS owner you need to play that demo with the 3D on.

Does the 3D make the models smoother ?

Play it if you have a 3DS .i'm not going get draged into a debate about which handheld consule is better. I'll play a great game regardless of which consule it's on. The 3D makes this game amazing and that cant be done on the vita but the vita could still make this a great game just without 3D which is what gives this game it's wow factor. I don't know how to explain..just try it

Yup, the demo is good and reminds me of classic castlevania. It's interesting to see how Trevor, Simon, Gabriel, and Alucard story before LoS 2.
