Dark Horse is going to publish a new Mass Effect comic series soon. This was announced in an interview at Comic Book Resources with Mac Walters, writer for the two most recent games in the series. Walters, who also wrote four other comics in the Mass Effect series, will once again be in charge of the story, but this time he is also responsible for the script.
Mass Effect: Foundation is an ongoing comic series which will have a new issue every month. So far, twelve issues are planned, which means we can expect one year of Mass Effect comic goodness.
In the interview, some interesting facts on the new comic have surfaced. For one, the name Foundation was chosen with a reason. The comic would focus on existing story lines, already hinted at in the games, instead of creating new stories. Yeah I saw that at the end of my play through as well. I think they will bring Shepard back….. or at least a mutant version turned villain. Lol
