Command & Conquer revisits Generals due to "astounding" number of fan requests

From Strategyinformer.com: "In our chat with Victory Games' Tim Morten, we asked why they decided to pursue the Generals fiction in the Command & Conquer universe. They choose it because the fans wanted it, he reveals.

It also proved the "most successful" commercially, beating Tiberian and Red Alert. It "felt like the right choice" with both of those factors rooting for it, but what about going free-to-play?" (Command & Conquer, Command & Conquer: Generals 2, PC)
