NZ Gamer - Crysis 3 Review

NZ Gamer - In the 1992 film Universal Soldier, Jean Claude Van Damme plays a reanimated super-soldier. In James Cameron’s Terminator 2, Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the same. Tony Stark’s Iron Man marries metal and man. Even Cloud, from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII, can trace his roots to the super-soldier.

The idea of a deadly hero, augmented by powers they cannot quite control, is one of popular sci-fi’s most well-trod paths. Crytek’s Crysis 3, and the entire Crysis canon, is one of modern gaming’s most obvious contributions the genre.

The story is too old to be commented.
