Aliens & Adolescence: Playing X-com With My Dad

Jason and his father didn't have much in common on paper. Jason was into anime, computer rpgs, and fantasy novels. His father worked on cars, went on backpacking trips, and generally didn't mind getting exposed to the sun.

They did have one thing in common though: X-com.

Jason remembers what it was like to grow up with a father whose only shared interest was strategy titles from Microprose. (PC, XCOM, XCOM: Enemy Unknown)
