In 9AD, Teutoburg Forest was the scene of a crushing defeat for the Empire. Masterminded by Arminius, the son of a Germanic chieftain taken as a child and raised as a hostage in Rome, the battle saw his betrayal of the Roman general Varus.
Definitely my most anticipated game on PC. Sega was smart to buy/publish for Creative Assembly. Thankfully, CA united the Roman regions into one nation (instead of the stupid 3 split in the first one).
Same here with the anticipation. Didn't mind the split of the Roman houses, could never turn down the House of Julii, best part was always telling the senate where to stuff it. Will see you on the battlefield. ps. Aren't CA in charge of an upcoming Aliens game?
Hmmm, I didn't hear about such a project. I should go check this out. True, playing House Julii was great, but after playing a mod (I forget which one) which united all three houses, I just couldn't go back to the vanilla version, lol.
I can't wait for this game. Might get a PC just for this eventually.
Very erect. Holding back the next major PC upgrade for this.
