Three Potential Future Metal Gear Spinoff Games

The Koalition writes: "With Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance taking the world by storm and impressing us even here at The Koalition in our review, its no surprise that the fans are curious about what other characters could shine like Raiden with their own titles. Even Kojima himself is excited at the idea of more spinoff’s, with the right studio involved of course.

With a solo adventure for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater’s “The Boss” all but confirmed and Naked Snake getting his own title with Ground Zero, it remains to be seen which other Metal Gear heroes (or villains) could follow close behind. Here at The Koalition, we decided to offer up some suggestions." (Metal Gear, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

I really enjoyed Metal Gear Rising for the most part. Of course it's not your typical Metal Gear game but Platinum games did a pretty decent job on this game imo.

Only played the demo, but they did a great job I think. Sort of took MGS4 humor and just ran with that instead of making it all serious and they nailed it.

I still want to play an MGS game as Kojima... it's his universe so he'd be like... God in it.

I completely agree. I'm not even a huge fan of action games outside of gow but I had a great time playing rising.. Really makes you feel like a bad ass and it does a great job fleshing out raidens charicter.

I'd kill for a game following Ocelot's life and adventures
They need a spin-off with Akiba that takes place after MGS4 and make it a stealth game. Have it us the MGS4 engine or something close to that and keep the stress meter as well as the enemy AI being able to smell you. Have the stress play a bigger part in this game and while in stealth if you're stress gets too high (which it will randomly and you'll have things you can do or use to calm yourself down a bit) then you'll crap yourself which could alert the guards. Then they could add a few hacking bits where you have to hack a door or trap.

Kojima also said that he has interest in developing a The Boss spin off title during WWII

Yeah that's referenced in the opening and is sort of assumed to basically be in the works already.
