Crysis 3 Review | Paste

Paste: "Crysis 3 never gets away from being a shoot-people-in-the-face game. Its single player is competent, but cloaked in all sorts of Michael Bay bombast and slow-mo, dealing in unearned gravitas without a hint of self-awareness. The multiplayer also suffers a bit, aside from a few specific match types that properly exploit the suit’s capabilities. A lack of imagination really holds the game back. Crytek has made a good shoot-people-in-the-face game, but little else." (Crysis 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 6.8/10

The sit name perfectly sums up the game. Just copy and pasted from crysis 2's boring gameplay and added trees.

All graphics and no gameplay. Go to way point, kill bad guys. Rinse. Repeat.

was enjoying it untill a glitch prevented me from completing the game.

I hate when that happens, especially when the game doesn't feel like it's worth the time to replay everything you did.

This game has the most replay value...funny you guys really do not get the gameplay if you say things like this.
The main thing of the gameplay is that you replay it again and again.
Everytime it is different because you can play it different from ur last replay. In fact this game is best if u play it again in a different way.

Crysis 3 is especially good at this compared to most games just like Crysis 1. Experiments dudes! It isn't so obvious apparently...or has it something to do with the fact that people do not recognise real sandbox gameplay if it's starring them right in the face?

Replay value to me is not based on the various ways the same game can be played, it is about the experience.

If I consider the experience of a game to not be meaningful then it isn't worth a replay for me.

This may upset you, but Crysis isn't part of the best games I've ever played. Sure it looks nice, but that's about it.

New Crysis games, guaranteed not to run full speed even on the stupidly overpriced GTX Titan. These games are hilariously bad, bit better graphics.. terrible strain on computer and just for an average shooter.

Unbalanced multiplayer, campaign had a fairly forced story, environments were just as closed off as Crysis 2 (I can quote them stating they fixed that), it took me 3 hours and 46 minutes to finish my super soldier play through, and completed all of the games achievements in a matter of 8 hours. The console version is severely lacking compared to the PC version, even then the PC version has issues as well, don't even get me started on how expensive of a PC you need just to get the most out of this game, and only get an average shooter to play. (doesn't matter which console you play it on either, they both suck at playing Crysis 3) And to top it off this old dog did't learn any new tricks, they just kicked it in the ass and sent it out in fresh packaging. The only positive of this game was the fact it had no online pass, and that was EA's choice. it's a 4/10 from me. Go ahead N4G, unleash the trolls on me.

The one thing I can say that I like about Crysis 3 is... the environment is a lot better than Crysis 2. The city environment was super dull to look at in Crysis 2, but the jungle city in Crysis 3 is a lot cooler looking. My two cents.
