Crysis 3 Review | GameCloud

Playing Crysis 3 is almost comparable to going on a date with a beautiful woman. It’s exciting, she looks absolutely stunning, and together you ultimately have a good time. However, all she can do is talk about how fantastic her cats are, and it feels as if she expects you to care more than you actually do. It’s possible that some people might be inclined to go out with her again, but it’s more than likely you’ll walk away just remembering how fantastic she looked. If this all sounds incredibly shallow, don't worry, it’s meant to. The game is undeniably fun, but without it’s looks it’s just another shooter that’s been made successful again by adding a few new tricks. (Crysis 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 7/10

Sequels Sequels Sequels. MW4, RE6, Crysis 3, AC4, ME4 *insert game name* 7, etc......
How about something new and different, as in "not another f**king sequel"? Crysis 1 and Warhead were enough. They didn't have to milk an already limited story concept. Talk of Crysis 4 already? C'mon, Crytek, stop milking and start fresh with a new ip.

@ Diffraction_Fos - I think these trends are quite common at the end of a console cycle, and given how long this one has been, it's arguably a major financial risk trying to introduce new intellectual property so late in the game.

That's not saying I agree with it being okay, but I at least understand. I think we can look forward to a lot of new games from the end of this year onward. It finally be that time where companies start taking risks again! :)
