One Year On And Still Don’t Want A PS Vita

Play Vault's Brian:

"As a huge fan of hardcore (for lack of a better term) mobile games I was incredibly excited about the PS Vita. Wi-fi, two thumbsticks, innovative PS3 connectivity and a touch screen? It seemed as though it had everything going for it. I figured I’d hold off on buying it right away though, adopt a wait and see style philosophy. Over the course of the next year I came to slowly realize that my seemingly perfect handheld system is actually a huge mistake"

Read the tile a few times, It's like a grumpy child has written it.

'Me not want Vita mummy, whaaaaa!'

Jonmau51310d ago

You keep reading that 'tile'. 'Tiles' can tell you a lot.

Har harrr ha ha har...oh wait, that wasn't actually funny...

Stuart's comment was though ;)

@ The person who wrote this article, Nobody cares what you want.

raWfodog1310d ago

Fortunately, this article has been properly identified as 'opinion' so there is nothing to rant against because everyone is entitlted to their opinions. The author doesn't want a Vita so he shouldn't buy one. Maybe it's just me but there are many, many things that I don't want and will never buy but I never thought to write an article about them...oh well.

I WILL write about things that I like though. And I will take the time to list the games that I have enjoyed (am enjoying) on the Vita:

Persona 4 Golden
BlazBlue
Gravity Rush
Uncharted:GA
Sly Cooper: TiT
Zero Escape: VLR
Dokuro
LittleBigPlanet
Disgaea 3: AoD
Escape Plan
Rayman Origins
Lumines: ES

I am looking forward to:

Soul Sacrifice
Tearaway
Warriors Lair
Ys: Memories of Celceta
Valhalla Knights 3
Muramasa Rebirth

Bottom line, it all depends on what your personal preferences are. Do the research (there's plenty out there), shop around, and buy what you want.

Thinking about getting one soon myself. Just thought I would make this comment and pretend that people cared. This blog post is pretty much just a recap/rant on things we've already heard a thousand times btw.

knifefight1310d ago

The user blogs are that way, Brian ------>

tigertron1310d ago

I just want them to cut the price of the 32GB memory card before I consider buying a Vita.

d0nT wOrrY1310d ago

And why should we care?! F%!K OFF with these useless articles. If you don't like it, don't buy it. No need to spread your opinion.

TongkatAli1310d ago

That is what they do. Nitpick, cry, nitpick, cry, rinse and repeat.

ElementX1310d ago

Aren't you spreading your opinion by commenting on it?

delboy1310d ago (Edited 1310d ago )

The Market has spoken, look at Vita sales, nobody wants it, and that's a fact.
People have smart phones and tablets, and if you want a real handheld for your kid, you buy a DS or 3DS.
Sony had enough time to try to change the Vita death course, with price cuts or at least remove drm from memory cards,or allow more then one user per memory card.
Sony got punished, for all the restrictions on Vita, and that's a good thing.
You must be a uber fanboy, blind, or stupid to buy a Vita, sorry for harsh words, but it's the truth.

raymond_zero_G1310d ago

delboy, where's the thing you want to talk smack about the PS Vita system, you have the right to express you're opinion, but when you insult people because of their preferences or choices, you're stepping out of line, so as a PS Vita owner I say keep this in mind, look at the early years of the PS3, and look at it now, so my suggestion to you is: when you feel the need to insult people because of their preferences or choices of handhelds or home consoles for that matter, put that keyboard so far up your ass that you'll start to think about things before you say them.

raWfodog1310d ago (Edited 1310d ago )

Delboy's comment says it all:

"and if you want a real handheld for your kid, you buy a DS or 3DS."

He's right, I would never buy a Vita for my kids because they don't take care of their stuff :) Vita is too damn sophisticated (and expensive) for that. It's the hand-held for the discerning mature gamer :)
