Cross-overs have been around for a while now and it seems that only in recent times are they becoming more and more popular. Most of the time, cross-overs are mostly made into fighting games such as PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Project X Zone, Jump Ultimate Stars and, of course, the main topic of this article, Super Smash Bros. With a fourth installment on the way, the series is set to take a massive turn. Super Smash Bros. U or Universe, as all fans call it for now, has the power and tools of bringing the series to a whole new level.

Meaning Wii U = 30 characters.
3DS = 30 characters but 15 will be different than Wii U version and will be portable / handheld focused characters.
