One of the most notable icons of Majora’s Mask is the moon. Whether you are playing, watching someone else play, looking at pictures, or simply talking about the game someone always mentions the moon. How could you not? It is one of the central focuses of the game. Whenever you look in the sky it is staring down at you while it gets closer and closer to Termina as the days pass by. The face on the moon adds a sense of urgency to the quest.
It was ambitious, but ultimately a let down, not what I wanted as a follow up game to one of the best games I had ever played up to that point.
IMO the face made it far more creepier (not to mention, iconic). It was like the moon was watching your every move...as well as every other person in Termina. It wasn't just strange...it was downright eerie.
And by "thanked" I mean by way of ducktape, a van, a shovel, and a one-way trip deep, deep in the woods.
