GTA 5 will release on PS4 and next-gen Xbox 'eventually' - Pachter

Grand Theft Auto 5 will release on PlayStation 4 and the next-generation Xbox "eventually", Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter has predicted.

let's say RS confirms its coming to ps4 and next xbox but 6 months after release how many people will

A:wait another 6 months to play it
B:buy it again for full $60 after playing it on current gen systems if only minor improvements

RS and take-two are really smart i don't see them investing a lot to make little improvements for what could be very small install bases and not enough sales

GTA5 on ps4 and next xbox will come with GTA4 and all the dlc along with GTA 3,VC,SA,Liberty city and vice city stories lol only dreaming not gonna happen lol

Honest answer to that...I'll get it for PS3 day 1. No way I'm gonna be able to wait knowing it's out...not even for a week. Especially for one of my most anticipated games. Once it was out for PS4, it would need to have significant improvements over the PS3 version for me to justify dropping another 60 bones on a game I already played. Unless of course, the online is that good.

if it comes out it will be day one release with the ps4 and 3. dont think they would launch a ps4 one way later unless its a goty edition with all the dlc.

In my opinion I don't think it's coming on Next gen platforms. I just think the delay was to have extra time to make sure they make the best game they can.
But I can be wrong, Rockstar does what they want to do.

I am not buying GTA5 when it releases, going to wait for a PS4 or "X720" version. Waited this long I can wait some more...

This better come out on PC! It does not even have to be in September as long as it takes advantage of DX11 and all that good stuff. If it does that and comes out in December or even January, I will be fine with that although I would prefer the previous in the same release day as consoles.

Probably. The real question is will the PS4 and 720 versions of GTAV be BETTER or exactly the same? AND by the time they are finally released, will anyone care? Just look at Batman: Arkham City.. popular game, sold tons! Then Nintendo released the Wii U version with enhancements like a year or 2 later.. nobody cared. Everyone who wanted Batman AC had already played it. The same will happen to GTAV. Everyone is going to be playing it when it releases. An enhanced version a year later will only get lost in a sea of fresh games designed exclusively for next-gen.
