Killzone: Shadow Fall Preview | Gamereactor UK

GR-UK writes: "Graphically, Killzone games have always been at the forefront (although we were not exactly floored by the third one), and judging by the gameplay sequence, Shadow Fall looks great. As for the frame rate, 30 fps seems to be with us for even longer."

Yea it's 30fps as Digital Foundry just stated but its rock solid not a dip at all so if its that good im fine with it. The demo was built on early developer kits I'm pretty sure and those have been advanced by a huge margin. They said the frame rate was so solid as of now they could imagine it could do 60fps. I'm sure when developers take advantage of the final developer kits with the 8Gb DDR5 ram and all the games will be way beyond even what we seen with Killzone: Shadow Fall even though it looks amazing.

I wished the next KZ game would be a fresh start for the characters and story because the first trilogy was just not interesting, and to their credit they did go for a new beginning, lets hope they make the best of it.

Tech Analysis by Digital Foundry is useless and unprofessional because:

- Digital Foundry do NOT own the demo (for testing)
- They used the KZ trailer to cap the framerate and not the real demo.
- Its to early to make a Tech Analysis....

No one knows how the game will look and run. these tech annalists and previews are based on a simple early trailer.

Watched the 1080P on youtube and everyone that cant see the clear difference between this and Killzone 2,3 is as blind as a bat.

Who cannot see the clear difference? It's on a new frickin console. One that is more powerful.

Ofc it's going to look different.

But it's not gonna look better than Crysis 3! On max settings. blah blah etc etc

Nobody is debating that a newer Killzone game that is on a newer PlayStation console doesn't look better than any previous Killzone iteration.

That would be stupid.

However there are plenty of people debating whether or not this new Killzone game looks better than Crysis 3. And that was what I was alluding to.

They've got that down. First thing Imma do once i get a PS4 and KZSF, Im gonna take my time and see the world they created.

Final game will be solid 30FPS at 1080p. Im down with that.

I hope they incorporate move as an option, loved using the move controller on KZ3.

Cant believe that I have 2 KZ games to look forward to this year :D

Kinda seems like they are insinuating
an open-world approach? Sure hope so, that city seemed very interesting. Doubt it though..
