Wii U gets a $25 gift card, buy 2 get 1 free off on Wii U games at Target

XMNR: Following the reveal of the PS4 last week, the Wii U received its first gift card deal at Target for the week of Sunday, Feb. 24. The retailer is also throwing in a buy two get one free offer on games for Nintendo's latest console. (Dead Space 3, Diablo III, New Super Mario Bros. U, PC, PS3, Starcraft II, Wii U, Xbox 360, ZombiU)

At all.

$274 (+taxes) on the basic model, if you factor in the gift card.

Yeah, but the Deluxe is still the better value with the extra memory and game.

Want the more affordable option.

I've read comments about ''the Wii U is too expensive,'' so I was addressing that fact (should've been more specific, I guess).

I wasn't disagreeing with you... was just joining the conversation, saying that IMO the Deluxe is the better option. I bought the Deluxe, and didn't even consider the basic model because the memory was too small. I kinda wish I had waited for the Zombie U bundle though. If they give a $25 credit with it, that'd be the best option since you get 2 games and a pro controller too.
