NIS's Nikawa: Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is for the fans

Video game publisher NIS America recently announced that the company will be bringing another installment of its popular Disgaea strategy RPG series, Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, to North American and European PlayStation 3's this fall.

Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is being developed as a direct sequel to the original Disgaea from ten years ago. Nippon Ichi President Souhei Nikawa says this is because of the staying power that the three protagonists from the original game have even after three numerical sequels. (PS3)

Mechanically the games are great. I lose interest though with some of the characters.
