Another potential Assassin’s Creed PS Vita title in the works

GameSector writes: Ubisoft Sofia’s working on a new “undisclosed AAA project” according to the resume of several of its employees. (PS Vita, Ubisoft)

Nothing there says it's for Vita, or another Assassin's Creed game.

Yeah, it's more of a rumor, but Ubisoft Sophia's involvement is what makes me think it'd be an AC game.

Yeeeaaah. Colour me excited if it is indeed another AC on Vita! Though I do fail to see where they've got this from.

Maybe we will get a watch dogs spin off? That would be dope for sure.

Watch Dogs for Vita.

Walk around with the game on your portable console, able to hack other peoples phones and trains and traffic lights in real life and god knows what else!

That would be pretty awesome. I think the Vita could really use a good open world game. I mean we have games like Gravity Rush which is awesome, but that's fantasy. The Vita really needs something like GTA, Watch Dogs, Saint's Row, or Sleeping Dogs.

Anyways, this is very likely an Assassin's Creed game for the Vita. Ubisoft Sofia developed Liberation, and Ubisoft was very pleased with both the games quality and it's sales.

Edit: According to a post on Ubisoft Sofia's FB page they're not working on any Vita games at all. All their projects are for consoles. Damn. Hopefully Ubisoft has another studio working on the Vita, especially with all the interconnectivity between the Vita and the PS4.

Hopefully we can see another Assassin's Creed title on the PS Vita, maybe even more adventure with Aveline?

It felt like we only scratched the surface with Aveline as a character in Liberation, so another story that follows her, though maybe in a different location would be very welcome

Aveline was one heck of a character, hope we do see more of her :D She was just badass with her axe and blow pipe!

So true, but we got 3 whole games of Ezio, I'm hoping we can at least get another one with Aveline, give her story the proper treatment.

There was an Assassin's Creed title leaked weeks ago called ACIV: Black Flags. Could that perhaps be the next vita title or something entirely different?
Canary  +   637d ago
Hm... it might be.

Black Flags makes people think of Pirates; AC3L was AC3 minus awesome naval combat, so it would be really ****ing cool to see a Vita-only AC game that focused solely on naval combat.

But calling it AC4... that wouldn't seem to fit. I imagine AC4 will be a home console release.

Well the last Vita game had the number in it. "Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation".

So it could be called: Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flags. It'll probably be a spin for AC4 which I imagine being a home console release.

Mine, maybe. Everyone's? Only if you blindly believe that Africa was the cradle of life. Completely ignoring archaeological evidence from Asia which dates before the time period the early hominids were supposed to have left Africa...

Also if Africa's so great why is it so shit? And before you say "it was colonised and they were made into slave!", Africa was shit for along time before major Colonisation started. Just a fucking backwards ass continent, lost cause. In stead of throwing money at them they should sort them selves out. Oh wait they want a hand out from the rest of the world? What a surprise...

since ac3 liberation sales makes ubisoft happy then maybe they would consider making another ac game for vita ^_^

I'd buy it

It was a great experience

AC3 Liberation was great. Now with the next one they just need to improve the framerate and it will be perfect ! :)
