Games That Could Have Been Great - Episode One: I Am Alive

Shawn Long of GAMINGtruth.com takes his first look at games that could have been great. The first one on that list: I Am Alive on the Xbox LIVE Arcade.

"It plays out the same every time: a group of guys walk up, you put your hands up and then you attack the one with the gun and stab the others. How about some variety? It's impossible to just sneak past someone, but why not add this option? Or how about you can actually talk to the people and try to either get them to piss off, join you or offer the player a chance to join their Band-Aid-seeking gang?" (Culture, I Am Alive, Xbox 360)

Yeah, I was also looking forward to playing this one. Too bad it ended up being a steaming pile of "meh."

And it just gets more monotonous as it goes along.

yeah I liked the story and the foggy atmosphere gameplay (I'm a Silent Hill Fan :p), but there is still something in it saying "I'm not a great (or Good) game". the gameplay is really missing something that DEPRIVES the addiction from it, you play it one hour then you say "Ahhh am bored of this".I like your suggestions BTW...
