Oddworld vs. PlayStation Vita

At Digital Foundry, we're on record as being rather partial to the PlayStation Vita and while we've looked at major titles such as Uncharted: Golden Abyss and WipEout 2048, coverage opportunities have been limited - something we're acutely aware of and aiming to address in a series of upcoming pieces that delve deeply into the character and capabilities of the hardware.

Our first stop is Just Add Water and Oddworld Inhabitants, who've recently released a fully featured PlayStation Vita version of the Stranger's Wrath HD remake, the original PS3 release having garnered an impressive 9/10 Eurogamer review score. (Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath HD, PS Vita)

This was interesting and informative. Very good job Eurogamer on the questions posed and the reponses from JAW were great in understanding the Vita.

I never actually got into Munch's Oddysee, i think it was because the 2D > 3D didn't feel right.

I have an idea that might work for a new Oddworld, create the game in full 3D and have 2D & 3D play sections and it could switch between both at certain points of the game. Don't know how well that would work but it might please people who preferred Oddysee & Exoddus over the 3D ones.
