Activision Interested In TNA Wrestling Game [Rumor]

Ian Fisher writes: The WWE may finally have some competition when it comes to the world of video games. While the WWE recently wrapped up a contract which will see all future games representing the brand published by Take Two Interactive, one of the last competitors in the wrestling world may be gearing up for a video game comeback. (Activision, Next-Gen, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Even though I want a Here The Comes Pain formula, they should consider AKI(WCW/NW Revenge, WWF NoMercy)as the developers.

Say what you will about TNA. Another wrestling game is great news for any wrestling fan and I welcome this move.

TNA Impact! on the Xbox 360 may never be rated as one of the best wrestling titles, but it was something different compared to what the WWE games were.

If a TNA video game can take the formula from games like WCW/NWO World Tour or even WCW/NWO Revenge, then it's destined to be something special and give the WWE video games a run for its money.

Sucks that the TNA game never got a full sequel as well. Impact was a decent starting point, but it could have evolved way beyond what it was if Midway didn't crash and burn.

I have been hoping that when THQ dies and WWE shifts to a new publisher it would stir interest in TNA wrestling games.
