Hitman HD Collection Review - GameGrin

I was quite giddy when I realised I would be covering what was essentially a collection of some of my favourite games of last generation. In my head, they were still as brilliant as I remembered them, and on a pure gameplay level I was sure they would impress, especially after Hitman: Absolution didn't live up to my expectations. (Hitman HD Trilogy, PS3, Xbox 360) 5/10

Blood Money certainly is the highlight of the trilogy. With regards to Hitman 2, it requires lots of attention and care, but when mastered, the game is an absolute pleasure. I recently played it through for a "Silent Assassin" Youtube series. 5/10 seems like a score given by somebody who played the games then founds them too hard so abandoned them. Hitman 2 and Contracts don't hold your hand and require patience spliced in with pinpoint timing.

You can probably tell that I love every Hitman game. Also, I find 2 is better than Absolution, regardless of how dated it is. That may be some bias though as I started with Hitman 2 and have completed it on "Expert" and intend to do "Pro" tomorrow - my Birthday.
