Sony PS4 and Diablo III on the Cloud?

Blizzplanet speculates about the PlayStation 4 capabilities after the acquisition of Gaikai back in August 2012.

Interesting article.

Gaikai should be free to access and stream demos like downloading demos from the PSN.

I wonder how much broadband you will need to stream the games at 720p, or at 1080p, and how this will affect the streaming while you are playing multiplayer games.

Most ok speced pc's can run D3 fine already.... not sure if this is gonna sell well honestly. What would have been better is if Blizzard started making console like based games again like Rock n Roll racing.

Hm..i tried to play on OnLive yesterday, wasn't a memorable experience, so much lag, 240p resolution, and all of this is because of my crappy connection, and i can see the future of Gaikai for me...

If your internet connection can handle YouTube videos, then it can handle Gaikai. The games are installed on their datacenters. All they do is stream the video of that game into your computer, or in this case into the PS4 or PS Vita (tablet). This streamed video is interactive. For me on a wireless 4G modem, gameplay was very laggy, but someone on Cable or DSL should have much better gameplay experience.
