Nyko has announced that the Wii U accessories they showcased at CES 2013 are now available at their online store. Inside is a full list of what you can snag and how much it’ll set you back.
The Power Pak for Wii U, which cost $24.99, makes since. It is 3X the capacity of the WiiU gamepad stock battery (estimated to be on average 4hrs).
Yeah, the Power Pak seems like a worthwhile investment although I like the kick-stand of the UBoost as well (although it doesn't increase the capacity quite as much. Considering the Power Pak is a replacement battery and the UBoost is an add-on, I wonder if you could use them both on a Gamepad to really ramp up the battery life. It might make the Gamepad prohibitively heavy though. Having said all that, I don't really have many issues with the charge on the standard Gamepad. The charging cable is a good length so just plug it in. ... I'm more tempted by the Pro Controller. Having the same layout as a 360 controller means my friends have no more excuses when I kick their arses in local multiplayer on BLOPS 2 :D
that power pak for Wii U is still not available. It's listed on their site, but you still can't get anywhere.
You can get it from amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Power...
@bitboi the power pak is on amazon now for 24.99 is says could take 4 to 6 weeks delivery though. just ordered mine yesterday!
cool thanks for the heads up! Just ordered mine as well.
no problem. been searching for months for this. i would look for it on their site and amazon. it finally came through though. no more having to have a cord hanging out of a wireless controller. good times.
Thanks to you guys, I orded mines too! Going to put some serious hours on Monster Hunter 3!
