If you have more than one Vita memory card, don't get too attached to your icon layout. Every time you swap cards, the icon positioning will be reset.
Finally, someone out there voiced out one of my concerns that I hope Sony fix soon. I have 2 accounts on my vita, both mine and both different region, and it is just a freaking hassle to switch out accounts after so nicely arranging my wallpapers, bubbles and settings. After swapping out so many times, I just gave up on personalizing my vita :C Sony, please notice this!
BY FAR the worst thing about Vita. I discovered this the first day I bought it. I was shocked that I had to go to so much trouble with the whole account/memory card thing.
Yeah, it sucks but a patch should fix this. The only problem is Sony still hasnt done a thing regarding this :L With more articles like this, Sony will pay attention.
I feel your pain... Am to frustrated with this problem. I also am praying Sony wakes up and makes a 64 gig memory card... Real soon..
That'd be really expensive. 8GB is already expensive. Imagine 64GB, costing more than a VITA.
It's only expensive for the Vita though, you can get a 16 GB for 3DS for $15.00 If Sony lowered prices they would sell more memory cards and people would then possibly buy more games.
Its seems the memory card is one of Vita main problems.
There is another problem too but I have not seen anyone mention it the vita can only have 100 bubbles at a time I have a lot of psp games and minis and annoying that I still have room on my memory card but I can't add anymore games because the vita can only have 100
How do you still have room on your memory card?!? I have a few 32 Gb memory cards and none of them have held anywhere close to 100 icons. That includes 45 minis on one of them.
I have 2 x 32gb cards (one for full games, and the other for PSN, PSP, PSone and demos). I wish at the very least it would automatically sort by alphabetical order unless you've rearranged stuff yourself. Anything would be better than the random jumble it has be default and every time I switch cards. My other wish would be for the memory cards to be MUCH faster, particularly for the price Sony is demanding. It takes forever to transfer content to and from the Vita, no matter whether connected to PC or PS3.
Your so right! It's such a pain in the a** that it pretty much makes owning a second memory card worthless! I have 3 cards, a 32GB card with my main US PSN account, then a 8GB card for my Japanese PSN account. The 3rd 4GB card is for my European PSN account but it was given to me for free, there was no way I would of bought a 3rd card after the shock I got from swapping that 32GB card back in for the first time and realizing all my icons and most background pic had to all be organized everytime the card was removed. Another VITA OS issue is the limit of 10 pages and the fact that I have to have a individual bubble for all my PSone games! All PSone games should go into one PSone Games Folder bubble so to save icon space, the same with PSP games. I hope Sony fixes these problems soon!
complaining about the price..then some of you guys are wishing for 64 gb?? then what??
Anyone hoping to go all digital had that dream shot down awhile ago. :/ I wanted to, but I just can't afford any more memory cards. I have three 32 Gb cards and they are all full now. I can't keep deleting games to make room for more. The same goes for my 500 Gb PS3. PS Plus and the deals on the store are hard to pass up. I can't fit all my games on there. I have a hard time believing that even 1 Tb would be enough next generation for someone with PS Plus.
Yes , folders for the main page please , so we can have folders for ps1 , psp , mini , psvita games. scrolling through bubbles can become tedious.
I just got a vita so I havent run into this problem yet and I would hate to. Those cards are tiny good lucky finding it if you drop it.
I read somewhere that Sony added the ability to make your own folders, however had to be done on a PC rather than through the Vita operating system. I haven't done it myself yet to confirm though. I have noticed that my games seem to need reinstalled constantly, not sure if this is due to updates being downloaded or what, but it does become a pain. My biggest complaint with the vita though is as a music player, with no inline remote control, or shoulder buttons to skip tracks, its a pain compared to the PSP experience.
You guys are tell so many lies i just got a 32gb card backedup everything to PS3 from 8gb card transfered everything to 32gb card everything was in place all wallpapers and games in right place
