As a 360 owner, it feels good to have a great sale for once. Even if it only comes once a freaking year. Ha.

Agreed, just wish Microsoft did this more often.

They like money too much to do it more often.

XBL has weekly sales on some pretty good stuff, but of course not on the calibre of this

It is nice to see these games potentially/finally get priced correctly even if for only a week. Games on Demand is typically way too overpriced.

Although, now with all the rumours regarding PS4 and PSN games going around, I'm far less inclined to spend my $ on digital downloads.

You must not use your 360 much there's ALWAYS great sales going through Xbox.

I use my 360 and check the marketplace daily, but many of the "great sales" hold absolutely no interest for me. The only time they have sales that seem to include the games/DLC that I'm interested in getting is during the Xmas/NewYears sales.

Hope the pricing is just as sweet as the list itself.

Is this sale for EU users aswell?

'Up to' being key. So, the really bad games will be 75% off and the triple AAA's will be 10% off? Hope not.

Also, why are they doing this now? Lol imagine if they don't carry over to the 720, be quite funny.

That's a ton of games going on sale so many good ones!

Both Sony and MS have seen the success and threat of Steam, they are adapting to that model for sure...but will it be enough for either to allow their platforms to continue the success they have seen?

Pretty decent list of games on sale. Might pick up Bioshock, Call of Juarez, El Shaddai, Orange Box and Raccoon City if they are cheaper than physical copies.
Dlacy13g  +   919d ago
ohh...I see Dishonored on the list... depending on price that may be a pick up.

Why are they doing this now all of a sudden? Xbox owners have been complaining on Majornelson's blog for years about the poor sales on the Xbox marketplace. Competition is good for business for everyone.

How in the hell can fans complain about sells when no one knows the number of sales for digital downloads, they probably complain about the price.
Triggytrolls  +   919d ago
They should reduce the majority of the on demand games to there correct prices.
whoyouwit04  +   919d ago
they should reduce the price of the games on demand period to a price no hire the 39$ for new games.

The only games from the list that I might want that I don't have are:

Borderlands 2
Dishonored
Portal 2

Will consider based on price, but I already have a small backlog I'm trying to play through.
