ARMA 3 Is Steam Exclusive

This just in: ARMA 3 will not only be PC-exclusive, but it will also be Steam exclusive, as announced on Bohemia Interactive's developer blog by Joris-Jan van't Land, the current project lead. (ArmA 3, Dev, PC, Steam)

Steam > Everything
With the HUGE amount of money Bohemia Interactive have made through Steam from sales of Arma 2 because of the DayZ mod, this move was a NO BRAINER!

1. Your game gets advertised and sold to millions
2. you don't have to worry about DRM
3. You make a lot of money

not much logic here..
you lose a lot of sales, no retail copy?
no PS4 or nextbox? lose a lot of sales and new fan base that will make the game more popular.

I bet the game will be good and enjoyed by whoever they decide! good luck.. maybe in 5 year is the steam box is cheap and the PS4 start showing it age I may get one.. maybe not.

Too many buttons for a joypad to handle.

PC isn't massively locked down like a console.

Good choice Bohemia :)
