PS4 details that Sony left shrouded in mystery

GameZone's Mike Splechta writes: "Yesterday was quite a monumental day for the world of consoles. We all got our very first glimpse of what Sony is calling 'the future.' That's right, the PS4 was officially revealed through a two hour presentation in New York." (PS4)

system has been confirmed to contain blu ray drive in interview with game informer yoshida confirms it.

"You talked about the new streaming technologies and being able to start playing downloads and demos immediately. There was no mention of physical media. Is that still planned for PlayStation 4?"

"Oh yeah. It’s going to be Blu-ray based. The same as PlayStation 3."
