Fire Emblem: Awakening Review | Gamer Horizon

The Fire Emblem series of strategy role playing games is known for its well-developed characters, emotional storytelling and perhaps most notoriously for its brutal difficulty. That difficulty is largely due to the fact that when a character is defeated in battle, they actually die (permadeath). There are no spells of revival or magical life restoring potions. Fire Emblem: Awakening, the latest entry in the series for the 3DS, is arguably among the most challenging of Fire Emblem games. (3DS, Fire Emblem: Awakening) 8/10
