PlayStation 4 Sets a High Next-Gen Bar

Last night Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) officially unveiled the PlayStation 4 console, their next-generation videogames platform set for release this winter. The event that played host to the first public showcase of the PlayStation 4 touched on many aspects of the future of PlayStation gaming, from technology to new IPs, new services to the next stage of PlayStation Network, and it was no less than impressive. (Deep Down, Driveclub, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, Next-Gen, PS4, Tech, The Witness)

I agree and I think they will hold that high bar because I doubt MS will beat it. Honestly with the 8Gb GDDR5 ram we thought would really be 4Gb and all the new feature with Gaikai just set a very high standard.

remember, these are launch titles that we saw at the conference.

imagine the difference between resistance fall of man and killzone 3. that is what we have to look forward to in this coming generation.

Incomplete launch titles at that.
Still plenty of time for further improvements.

Gakai alone is a game changer.
