Metal Gear Rising Revengeance - New VR Missions DLC Info

Platinum have revealed more information on the Metal Gear Rising VR Missions DLC via the latest Development Blog. The VR Missions DLC in Rising will consist of 30 missions featuring a virtual-reality look inspired by the original Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions.

First DLC is called the "Soul Snake Wooden Sword". A special wooden sword infused with the soul of Solid Snake and every time you swing it, you will hear Snake’s voice. VR19 : Unarmed Combat Training. A street fighter style mission which is fighting with bare hands against cyborg with side-scrolling game's fixed camera. In VR 21, you will be able to control the Dwarf Gekko to stun all the cyborg soldiers in the darkness long stage.

Love these kinds of extra trial-style missions in games - great way of testing your skill in a more pure environment. I really enjoyed Mirror's Edge - trial stages. Great fun.

I agree with you. It's nice to have something away from the game which has no context in which you can just go wild and try to go form A to B. It's fun and a great way to get better.

I sucked at the Mirror Edge ones though haha.
