Racing Evolves on PlayStation 4 with Driveclub

Evolution Studios announces Drive Club, a racer that is set to reward players for playing in squads, as opposed to simply competing for first place like a normal racer. Using real life exotic cars, Drive Club emulates cars to an extreme level, which should leave fans in awe. Taking players outside of simply sitting in a cockpit view, Evolution Studios tries to emulate what it really means to sit in some of the world most powerful cars.

After Killzone, this game didn't do much for me. It looks beautiful for sure, but it isn't for me.

I LOVE racing games, so it's exactly what I'M looking for. Not everyone likes the same things. I for one, am excited for DriveClub.

BTW: Bungie is Showing DESTINY game on ps4 right now! Whoooo!!!!

Anyway, our opinions do matter. As gamers we ARE the grand scheme. I'm betting any game developer would love to know why some people would buy a game from a different developer instead of theirs.

this game is a combined effort of evolution studios and many of the developer talent from studio that worked on Project Gotham Racing and Blur

It didn't scream must buy but there was so little actually shown and we know next to nothing about the game so i will take the wait and see approach

GT series is huge for playstaion brand but i felt like PS brand could use another racing series

overall so far A++ for sony. they are showing E3 quality conference 3-4 months before E#

I thinks it's great, I love driving/racing games, and the amount of detail looks insane. Also, everyone using First Person View will make this an EPIC race in which skill and coordination come on top. Looking great.

The GT series sells like crack. Like 8 million units crack.

This game looks GREAT! Its a must buy for me, I own both Motorstorms so I trust the team behind it.

Its appeal is really the customizing of cars (not sure if anyone noticed those cars where not stock) and the whole playing with other clubs thing. It looks really, really fun.

But of course...GT, IS GT! If I want a GT game...I"M BUYING GT6, GT this isn't. Its not to say its bad, I'm getting it upon release, its just not even near a contender for GT. Forza wan't.......

Another thing to note. GT6 is coming for PS3 NOT PS4.

Only the diehard GT fans will scoff at anything that ISNT GT. Seriously, there can be a good alternative to a flagship title.

This certainly looks to be inspired by GT and to some extent, even Forza. That isnt a BAD thing. It gives the gamers options now having another 'potentially' high quality driving/racing sim on the PS platform.

Oh and sony can choose when and what system to release GT games. just because they did 2 on the PS1 and 2 on the PS2 does not automatically mean there will be a GT6 on the PS3.

Chances are (and this is a guess) that if GT6 were to come out, given the past track record of GT sequels within a console gen, it would not do AS WELL as GT5. So it makes more sense that with all the time they took to make GT5, making GT6 now pushed to the PS4 will more than likely certify a system seller game.

When GT3 came out as the first one for the PS2, it sold like crazy and that is what Sony would like to repeat with a GT6 on PS4. Not end up with what happened to both GT2 on PS1 or GT4 on PS2.

That is just a guess.
