Top Ten Nintendo Franchises That Need New Games

SuperPhillip Central writes, "Last week's Nintendo 3DS-centric Nintendo Direct had a heavy focus on Mario titles. That is just fine because each Mario game was not in the same genre, and new things get added to each sequel. However, there are an abundance of Nintendo franchises that have not seen the light of day for quite a good while. While Mario constantly gets the attention, there are franchises that don't get even a mention. These are the series that we at SuperPhillip Central would like to see return to the limelight with a new installment either for Wii U or the 3DS." (3DS, Culture, Mole Mania, Nintendo, Star Fox 64 3D, Wii Sports, Wii U)

I don't know why people didn't like Dark Dawn. I thought it was great. Can't wait for a 4th Golden Sun.

ha haa all these fanboy attacks toward nintendo about "milking" their franchises ... . fanboys got nothing really bad to say about nintendo so they nitpick to relieve their stress??

get this . after "KIDtendo" milks their ip's, they sell the milk, make a profit, then spray that milk all over your fanboy faces with their real game changing, record breaking worK . .

todos modos nintendo gots how many franchises to choose from on the line??????

So many franchises to choose from. There isn't a single console manufacturer that can boast as many.

I'd love to see pretty much all of those franchises make an appearance this gen on Wii U and 3DS. I think if Nintendo really capitalise on their franchises (I mean using all of them, reviving old ones like with Kid Icarus rather than just having a bunch of Mario games and creating new ones) then they can stand up to PS4/720 no matter how much power those two have. I don't know about anyone else but the main reason I buy a Nintendo console even without knowing the full specs is because I know they will have awesome 1st and 2nd party games.
