Bury your foes in a spray of bullets!
what the hell he knifed the fence and it exploded lol
this game will own i cant waitttttt ohh god i want it so bad
The Battlefield series are the only games over at EA that are worth a sh!t.
It's made by DICE. EA owns the publishing rights to some great franchises that they aren't responsible for developing themselves. Like Mass Effect and Burnout. Most of EA's inhouse titles aren't worth sh!t though =) Army of two looks promising but it remains to be seen if it delivers or not.
It´s made by DICE a Stockholm based developer, i have a friend that works there. But he is bound by confidential rules so he cant give me some sweet info =( Looks like it´s gonna be a cool game thou, i like the destructable enviroment.
Skate and SSX were quality.
Man so many videos, plz release it already. I remember same excitement over watching BF2 videos and waiting for it to come out. HOpe the screen tearing it gone from final version.
I think the only problem with this game is that it will be compared to COD4. I need to watch more vids, but so far the action in COD4 seems more intense & the visuals are definitely better... but I do like the map layouts in this game more. I'll probably rent it first.
That can be really cool in multiplayer =) Guy1: Someones hiding the house Guy2: Where? Guy1: "blows a huge freakin hole in the wall" Guy2: I see him =)
The environments are graphics are nice and all, but I'm dissapointed at the gameplay direction. Seems you can only blow through walls with rockets or grenade launchers and the gameplay is much closer to run and gun. Doesn't look very unique or Battlefield-esque... just another shooter. I understand that this is single player footage, but multiplayer looks pretty similar.
So what typifies Battlefield gameplay for you?
Although that lvl is a LOT like that cod4 level in singeplayer where its a huge hill and your going down it after taking out the tanks on the top and there is a water front at the bottom.
more interested in the single player for the game oddly enough. But I swear to God if it's as lackluster in design as the few spots in Battlefield 2's single player (the glitches and slowdown) I'll be "accidentally" breaking that disc in half in a fit of rage within hours of owning it.
Sorry, but knife + fence does not = explode into pieces. Also, all damage in Battlefield Bad Company is done very cheaply through model swapping that is triggered by an explosive device or action....you just don't see the swap take place because of the smoke and particles that blast in your face, obscuring your view. None of it is calculated in real-time, using physics or anything of the sort, except for trees and loose objects scattered on the ground. The only thing impressive about Battlefield Bad Company is the audio. Very impressive indeed. For me, this will be a rental at most.
Also, I saw a LOT of REALLY BAD screen tearing. Hope that doesn't make it into the final product.
on second thought, the trees don't even seem to have proper physics. They just fall and once they hit the ground, are completely immobile. Ugh. And I thought DICE was being detailed. I guess not. Oh yeah, and remember that BIG F*CKING TREE that fell in the beginning of the video? Well, a few seconds later.... It's gone. Battlefield Bad Game Design? After seeing this botched attempt at realism and detail, I'll stick with Battlefield 2 and 2142, which don't attempt to be, nor were they flaunted as being, realistic (destruction / physics / sound-wise) and interactive....they're just designed as good multiplayer games and that is that.
One game i loved the destructible environments was John Woo:Stranglehold, youll just be running away from some huge guy and since he cant see u he just destroys the floor ur running on...then destroys u...good times, gooood times
like it or not its a call of duty 4 killer LOL everyone going to get it here why if 10 of your friends on your buddy list got it and say its good game and say you need to get it then you will get LOL
COD4 set the standards for shooters really high which is good as it will push the rest of the developers to make a better product. The vehicles and destruction is what will set this game apart.
PS3-1701D - criticizing is the easy part but making it is what's difficult ☺
