Yes, I am an Anti-Aquaman Bigot

Kotaku: Last week's trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us trotted out the usual affirmative action for Aquaman—no, really! He's powerful!—and my first thought was "Nereid, please." DC has been wallowing in primary-color guilt over Aquaman for generations now. Every mainstream presentation of him takes great pains to show him as mighty, volatile, arrogant, bearing the uneasy-lies-the-head conflict of being the monarch of the sea. Shut the fuck up. This is a guy who breathes water and talks to squid. He's one of the few fighting game characters who should be lockable. As in, win five matches and never see him again.

The story is too old to be commented.

Not the worse hero and not the best.

Most of the problems come from his portrayal on the old "Super Friends" cartoon, who were incredibly short-sided in showing his abilities in a positive light.

Aqua-man has Underwater Armies and Kingdoms under his command. Also, every creature in the Ocean "real" (fiction) to "fictional behemoths" (fiction)-
In addition, he has water manipulation- and he is stronger than the average human + a warrior.

Most characters that sucks, usually only sucks because writers could not think of anything to do with them.

Wish it was the more badass AC when he had to cut off his own hand and had a trident in its place...but this will do.
