Hardware refreshes do tend to help spur interest back in devices, versus just dropping the price.

They know better than anyone else on how to keep it alive.. & im sure theyre doing just that with the price drop in japan & possibly world wide price drop announcement tomorrow along with a few other things like ya know, PS4, Gaikai, future plans n games, etc.. But im sure u knew all that

I think some people are underestimating the significance of this. Only this price drop, at this stage of the Vitas life and its current situation, is almost a concession of defeat on the part of Sony. It's obvious sales have been less then satisfactory just to cover production and distribution and this is not going to help at all, but they must start moving units.

u cant be serious! Nintendo dropped the price on 3ds like 6 months in & thats ok but vita doing it a year later is a sign of defeat? NO! lol just no.. Vita has some great games & features with more coming.. A price drop, more games, ps4 integration, etc will only make it skyrocket

Project J coming to the Vita, you mad.
